Part-Time Administrative Manager

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for overall reception and administrative tasks as well as daily data entry and filing, coordinating volunteers, assisting with social media posts, grant applications, donation requests, fundraising, mail outs, and other tasks as requested. This position requires 20 hours per week (4 hours per day) and the rate of pay is $15 per hour. Additional hours may be required during peak times. A set schedule will be established between the successful candidate and the Director, but flexibility of the Administrative Coordinator is required that in some cases may be last minute.

Required: A high level of professionalism and knowledge of EOS and its services; Proven successful experience in multi-tasking and organizing; Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs; Experience using a database; Professional verbal and non-verbal communication skills; Reliable and flexible; A valid BC Drivers License and car; Ability to work well individually and as part of a team; A strong desire to serve others and help those in need.

Strongly Preferred: Customer Service Experience; Formal secretarial, administrative or reception training or certification; Knowledge of social media channels and experience utilizing them effectively to promote causes; Fundraising experience; Cell phone; Non-Profit experience.
